The Summer BeachLife Tournament on Ameland is a well-known phenomenon in the world of beach volleyball. The wide sandy beach is the perfect location for a weekend of sporting action and fun. While playing matches on one of the 125 courts, you can enjoy the fresh sea air and the view of the Wadden Sea. During your break, there are spectacular top-division matches to watch, and in the evening, the party gets going at The Sunset beach club with great DJs and a unique atmosphere.

Our beach volleyball tournament takes place on Hollum beach, behind the lighthouse on the beach near The Sunset pavilion.
Ameland is a beautiful Wadden Island that can only be reached by boat (unless you want to walk the mudflats). Wagenborg Ferries provides the crossing from Holwerd to Ameland. Even as a pedestrian you have to reserve the boat!
From the boat you can easily rent a bicycle (pick up on arrival) or use the bus transport to reach Hollum. Rent a bike from Nobel bike rental, from the boat, at your location, or pick it up in the village where you're staying: Rent your bike here with a discount!
